Happy Chippy started because I got tired of hearing stories about tradies who didn't show up, didn't call back, or left a job half-done. I've been working with my hands for over 15 years—carpentry, maintenance, landscaping—and somewhere along the way, I realised the technical skill is only half the job.
The other half? Showing up when you say you will. Explaining what you're doing and why. Treating someone's home like it's yours. Not making excuses when something goes sideways. Basic stuff, really—but it's rarer than it should be.
So that's what Happy Chippy is about. We do good carpentry, reliable maintenance, and thoughtful landscaping. But more than that, we make the process easier. No games, no surprises, no stress. Just clear communication, fair pricing, and work that's done right.
I'm a qualified carpenter with over 15 years on the tools. Licensed, insured, and local to the area. I work with a small team of trusted contractors when the job needs it, but you're always dealing directly with me—not a call centre, not a different person every week.
