When something breaks or you have no time to wait. We keep capacity for urgent work so we can reply the same day and be on site within 48 hours, that speed comes at a premium. Charge-up rate, transparent and agreed upfront.

From 2D floor plans to full 3D renderings, we help you visualise the finished result before any money is spent on construction. No lock-in, the plans are yours to keep. And if you do decide to build with us, the drafting fee comes off your build quote.

Why Happy Chippy exists
I believe building projects can be run differently. Not just the physical work but the whole experience: how problems get caught, how decisions get made, and how the person paying for it all stays in the loop without having to chase anyone.
Happy Chippy was started on that idea. Having worked every level of a construction and landscaping project, foundations as a labourer, the tools as a carpenter and landscaper, the full picture as a project manager, means problems look different from each vantage point. That range is what lets things get resolved before they become your problem to deal with.

Qualified carpenter, 15+ years across four countries. I've dug foundations as a labourer, run landscaping crew, design and fit-out shop, and managed full construction projects as project manager, then came back to the tools because I love to see the work happen live.
